MÆ - Motion Afterefffect

MÆ - Motion Afterefffect is the result of the artist's residency where Freya and I collaborated to question the relation between virtual and physical bodies, gender roles in emerging experiences among. Starting with Freya's existing research we used the esidency to turn some of our ideas/questions into performance.

The performance featured multiple scenes that relied on Freya's brilliant performance, found footage and interactive technology.

Video recording coming soon and all photos are shot by Robbie Sweeny.

This work was developed through the CounterPulse Artist Residency Commissioning Program with the support of the National Endowment for the Arts, the Zellerbach Family Foundation, and the Ken Hempel Fund for the Arts.
